Injections' major purpose is to fill up wrinkles that have been furrowed by diminution of muscular and/or cutaneous tone . I prefer to use Hyaluronic Acid based products which can be resorbed.

Hyaluronic Acid is intradermally injected. Treatment duration is 30 mn and results are instantaneous. To Fill up wrinkles, anesthesia is not usually necessary, However ,One hour before, the doctor generally apllies local anesthetic on the areas which are going to be injected .

Side effect :treated area can gently swell up and little slushing can persist from 12 to 24 hours  following the injection

Duration :contrary to permanent implants, Hyaluronic Acid offers the possibilty to repeat the treatment after its effect has become blurred . Duration varies between 6 and 9 months .

During the maturing process,  face tend to loose its volumes , it  kind of "deflates".

With ageing, the face loose its oval shape. The emergence of jowl and a short chin accuentuate this phenomenon.The chin musles tenses up and make the skin aspect displeasing.

For practical purpose: The plastic surgeon redraw the face's oval and fills it up with Hyaluronic acid  .The result is instantaneous et sometimes spectaculary. For the chin, Botulinum toxine is used to relax the musles that creates this crumpled skin aspect .

Lift up  the commissure of the lips

En vieillissant le coin de la bouche tombe et se creuse, ainsi on accentue le "pli d'amertume" ou ride de "la marionnette". Ceci est du au relachement du visage qui "tombe" et à l'action d'un muscle qui tire vers le bas la commissure.

En pratique : Le chirurgien plasticien peut injecter le muscle responsable avec de la toxine botulique pour le detendre. C'est un geste delicat car il faut bien connaitre l'anatomie de la region. Il est souvent associé un comblement du pli d'amertume avec de l'acide hyaluronique de façon a créer un soutien au coin de la bouche.

Remplir les tempes creuses :

Ce problème est fréquent sur les visage maigre et allongés, il est du à la fonte du muscle temporal vers 40 ans. Le visage prend alors un aspect dit en "sablier" qui gene beaucoup les patient et accentue la chute du sourcil.

En pratique : Le chirurgien plasticien injecte de l'acide hyaluronique (ou de la graisse) ce qui permet de regonfler immediatement la zone. Le geste est simple pratiquer une fois/an en general.
