You must be careful with the attractive costs you can find on the web, they are quite suspect. If you are looking for a cheap price you will surely find it, but don't forget that it is surgery and that there are risks for your health.
Sometimes ,it is better to give up the intervention rather than being trapped by discount prices which are quite commun overseas (please refer to the article on this subject).
Note that French law is the most protective for cosmetic surgery patients .Many rules are to be respected : obligatory quote ,reflexion period, informed consent, decree on clinics.....
Charges exceeding the statutory fee
Doctor Benadiba is allowed to charge more than the statuory fee ( sector 2) according to decree n° 60643 dated of July 9th of 1968 from the National Insurance code. This amount will not not be reimbursed by National Insurance but it will be indicated on the slip 615 which will be sent to the clinic after the departure of the patient .
Exceeding charge can be completely or partly reimbursed by some mutual insurance companies depending on your contract and after National Insurance has payed its part.
Mutual insurance companies contracts are often difficult to understand and patients have difficulties to know exactly how much will be reimbursed.
